For those interested in digital photography, software, and manipulation.
This data is from the comp.graphics.apps.paint.shop.pro newsgroup. Note that Paint Shop Pro used to be from
Jasc Software Inc, but has now been purchased by Corel Corporation.

Jasc used to have a forum, where I saw someone post the graphic below:

Photo Re-namer

I am pretty sure that some months ago a program that would re-name digital graphics was mentioned here.
I don't just want a file re-namer I want one that can use the exif (?) photo data for the new name. Perhaps
incorporating the date the photo was taken.

Can anyone here remember/recommend such a program please? A "how to" would be an added bonus. :-)

Hello group....It's a pleasure to join the forum. I am wondering how I can create "ghost images"
I would like to be able to paste one photo on top of the other with the background photo showing
thru the top photo...ie is some way of making the top image less that 100% opacity. Any help you
can give me would be appreciated.

Can this be of some help?

Flaming Pear have 2 free filters called ghost and antighost
http://www.flamingpear.com/goodies.html
in their freebies plugin set
http://www.flamingpear.com/download.html#ghost

Ghost turns an image layer into a semitransparent picture made entirely of black pixels. It produces
a smoked-glass effect that's hard to produce by hand..

AntiGhost turns a layer's transparency values into shades of grey.
