The
full content of the PC Security workshop held on 29th April is included
in this month's magazine. If there is a demand for it, it can be
incorporated into the training material that will become progressively
available through our home page and independent of the magazine.
The past month has seen a lot of
basic preparation and behind the scenes work in the training room. By
the time we go to press there should be 12 new computers and an
overhead data projector operating there. 380 MB of Microsoft Unlimited Potential training resources have been mounted at http://www.pcug.org.au/training/trainingcds.htm for download for any trainers to have a go at putting on a workshop.
What we need now, of course, are more
members prepared to give their time and talents into utilising these
resources and helping David Gill in his considerable efforts in
structuring our training procedures.
