2006
begins with not having a magazine nor meeting last month. and the
first monthly meeting on 7 February. Microsoft people will be there. It
should be excellent!
NEW MEMBERS NIGHT
The
new members night has begun again, and will be held on the first Monday
of each month, at the PCUG room at Holder. I was not told, but I
presume it will be 7.30pm.
This issue sees a stack of Freeware links (3, actually); a short
article from Ross Hamilton on how to clean up junk; a shorter than
usual offering from Ken Meadows which I've named for the moment as Ken's Komment; 3 humour links, and 2 short articles that might be of interest to Digital SIG people.
But there's more! Terry Bibo reviews Advanced Windows Care, and Mike
Boesen provides an excellent article on how to monitor one's computer
temperature.
As usual, should you have any queries, address a message to editor@pcug.org.au
Yes... I know that my photo has me looking the wrong way! It's the only
one I have, and was taken during a coffee and chat meeting.
It's been massaged a bit with Paint Shop Pro. At least I
was smiling!
