Subject: Just did it again today.

After this one, I will not post a hoverfly on my finger again, (don't want to become boring!) but I never thought -- making the first pic I posted a few days ago -- that I could pull that picture ever again.
Today I tried again (nothing else to do!) and this one landed on my finger too - it's a different species, and she was very comfortable sitting there, washing her mouth. I found it amazing, and I am doubly lucky I think.
She was laying eggs as I spotted her, and maybe she was looking for a rest. After the photo session, she went back to the same flower, to lay some more eggs.
