We started the
Committee Year with a bare bones, sometimes-no-quorum Committee, that
lacked Sixteen Bits liaison and lacked a MMM Co-coordinator, and then
suffered the annual Christmas break.
Because of
general dissatisfaction with the ANU meeting venue, we did not re-book
the venue, and our present situation is, that although the Committee
has a strong view that there should be regular (but not necessarily
monthly) meetings, we have not yet conjured a volunteer to coordinate
meetings, and have not yet located a satisfactory venue.
To add to our
woes, the means by which Karen used to update the web site was overrun
by the changes to TIP, and it took time before she regained that
ability.
We now have 4
extra Committee Members,, and are just catching up with the backlog of
essentials resulting from the Christmas break, so we hope that there
will be greater consistency resulting from the catch up and the
reestablishment of liaison between Committee/Office/Sixteen Bits.
Please bring any
discrepancies you may notice to our attention, so that we may continue
with the catch up and improvements already under way.
