Being a bit on a security conscious side, computer users apply passwords to sensitive documents like Office spreadsheets and Word documents. But what if a password slipped out of your memory and you haven't written it on paper? ACCENTSOFT.COM is a way to go then!

No OFFICE Password Is Long Enough To Be Recovered!

AccentSoft Team today announces the immediate availability of the updated versions of their family of products that recover lost or forgotten 'open file' passwords to Microsoft Office documents. The updated programs include Accent OFFICE Password Recovery, Accent WORD Password Recovery, and Accent EXCEL Password Recovery.

"With our recovery tools, the question is not whether the password will be recovered, but how long it will take," says Denis Gladysh, Project Manager at AccentSoft Team. "The time will vary, depending on the type of a password. Some passwords are recovered immediately; others need to be revealed using one of the three recovery methods (or attacks): brute force, brute force with a mask, and a dictionary based one, which is enhanced by advanced options."

In case of the brute force attack, the recovery program, for example Accent OFFICE Password Recovery, will throw every possible combination of letters, numbers and other characters at a file. This method is the most lengthy one (may take even a day), but the program will mercifully do its job while being unattended, or while you'll be working with some other application. In doing this, the program will not slow down the computer or cause any error, thus providing users with comfortable, undisturbed computation.

The password recovery may, of course, be shorter if you know some elements of a password, for example, the first element is 'A', the second is '4' and the last character is in the upper case. Then, the quickest method will be to use a brute force attack with a mask, which means you can specify some password generation rules and define values individually for each character. In this case, the password recovery becomes 'targeted' and takes a considerably shorter period of time. Specifying a mask, if ever sounded a tricky task to do, is no longer difficult with AccentSoft's visual mask builder that lets anyone set up a mask in a few clicks of the mouse.

Another recovery method used by Accent software is a dictionary based attack, which utilizes large files of commonly used words and names. The software can search several dictionaries one by one for the password, transforming passwords and adding digits to them. This increases the chances of quick password recovery. Regardless of the selected recovery attack, users will be guided by Task Creation Wizard that makes the recovery so much simple. Many national alphabets are supported, so even non-English passwords are recovered too.

For all the seeming complexity, the recovery software is very easy to learn and use thanks to a carefully written interface that hides sophisticated recovery algorithms behind a friendly front end. With AccentSoft's software, even a beginner, who isn't much exposed to computers, can understand the ins and outs of the program and set it going in a short while after the installation, in fact, in 2-4 minutes. But if the instruction is needed, the context help is always at hand, as well as a step-by-step tutorial that explains everything in clear English.
