The Hardware Library
From time to time the Group purchases equipment for which members
may have only an occasional need. This equipment makes up the
Hardware Library from which any member may borrow. Suggestions
for purchase of equipment are welcome. Such suggestions should
be sent to the Secretary or made
directly to the Hardware Librarian
.
Rules of Use
The rules for use of this Library are simple:
- borrowing is free
- telephone the Hardware Librarian to arrange to borrow
- loans are for a nominal period of one week. This may be extended
if no other member is waiting for the item. If you want to extend
the loan, ring the Hardware Librarian the day before return is
due to check
- you are responsible for the equipment while it is booked to
you. If it is not operating properly, let the librarian know as
soon as possible so it may be repaired
- you are responsible for picking up and returning the equipment
That last point is important. Do not request the Hardware
Librarian to deliver equipment anywhere. You must
pick it up and return it.
