Mark delivered a
lively interactive presentation on Windows Vista, in Beta, a product
designed "to bring clarity to your world".
System requirements - 512 MB.
The audience was guided through the Search capability, IE 7, the
Windows sidebar, performance enhancements, XPS documents and so on.
We were fascinated by the features, such as:
live icons (bit maps which displayed the first screen of documents);
wider window frames and borders, offering easier re-size and dragging;
see-through windows;
a very cool feature - Flip 3D;
better wizards - easier to understand.
This is a very brief sketch of what I found to be an impressive presentation, and I look forward to the release.
